Speakers Announced - Learn from industry experts at Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition 2019

The program for Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition 2019 (Smart Energy 2019), Australia’s premier event for smart energy and renewables, has just been announced. A line-up of more than 120 world-class speakers will deliver two days of presentations across a three-stream program.

Smart Energy Council CEO, John Grimes, said Smart Energy 2019 will set the stage for the climate change election and outline an agenda for Australia’s energy transformation.

John Hewson will chair the opening plenary, with keynote speeches from Australia’s leading finance and investment commentator Alan Kohler, Australian Energy Market Operator chief executive, Audrey Zibelman, Ian Learmonth, chief executive, Clean Energy Finance Corporation and leading renewables investor and candidate for the federal seat of Kooyong, Oliver Yates.

Victoria’s Energy Minister, Lily D’Ambrosio, and former NSW Australian of th4 Year, Jon Dee, will headline the second day of Smart Energy 2019.

“The calibre of this year’s speakers and exhibitors is outstanding and cements Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition as a premier smart energy event and meeting point of Australia’s renewable energy industry thought leaders and industry innovators from all sectors.”

The conference program will cover the latest Australian and international market trends, finance and investment, demand response and energy efficiency, transforming to zero carbon, government initiatives, project development, alternative energy including hydrogen, energy storage and efficiency, new technologies and more.

Sustainable transport will also make up part of the Smart Energy program.  CWP Renewables business development manager, Andrew Dickson, and Claire Johnson, CEO, Hydrogen Mobility Australia will be among the industry experts exploring hydrogen and alternative fuels.

Smart Energy 2019 will be held from 2-3 April 2019 at the Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
