Media Summary and Key Highlights from the Stimulus Summit

Smart Energy Council’s Stimulus Summit: A Renewables-Led Economic Recovery brought together government, industry and exports to discuss a vision for low-carbon economic recovery led by electrification and renewable energy.

More than 3,500 people registered making this Australia’s biggest ever online renewable energy event.  There was considerable media coverage of the event with more than 350 media clips (including syndication) mentioning the Summit. The audience also engaged on Twitter with a reach for more than 300k on the hashtag #StimulusSummit.

PRE-EVENT

Media alerts were widely distributed ahead of the Stimulus Summit, in addition there were two renewable energy announcements from Queensland Premier Annastacia Palazszcuk.
